Chelsea forward, Diego Costa has been charged by the FA for violent conduct after the Spaniard was seen to have stomped on Liverpool’s Emre Can during Chelsea’s clash against Liverpool in the capital one cup.
Costa apparently stepped on Martin Skrtel and Emre Can during the match but the stomp on Skrtel was adjudged to be a mistake and the forward was charged by the FA and could be facing a ban of up to three matches starting against Manchester City. Diego Costa is set to contest the decision according to representatives of Chelsea. Mourinho is set to look into the matter personally as he cancelled his press conference on Thursday.
Costa looked very guilty on the account of stomping on Can’s foot but the former Atletico Madrid forward continues to protest his innocence.
