Chelsea are currently looking to bring in Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina but would have to sell a player in order to make that happen as they try to maneuver through the financial fair play rules.
The unfortunate player to be axed is Andre Schurrle who joined from Bayer Levarkussen but has failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge. Schurrle is a transfer target for clubs in Germany including Werder Bremen and his former employers, Bayer 04. Schurrle is also wanted by Shalke 04 but Chelsea are yet to enter negotiations with any of these clubs.
Schurrle might be willing to leave Chelsea as his future at the London club don’t look as promising as they used to be.
