The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies made a huge opening at the Box Office.

The Peter Jackson movie made $90.6 million in its opening week, enabling it sit comfortably atop the Box Office standings.

Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb opened to a disappointing $17.3 million, a franchise low, while Annie came in third at $16.3 million.

Fox and Chernin Entertainment’s Exodus: Gods and Kings faltered greatly in its second weekend to $8.1 million for a poor domestic total of $38.9 million. Ridley Scott directed the biblical epic, starring Christian Bale as Moses.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 rounded up the top five with $7.8 million for a domestic total of $289.2 million.
