Suarez: The Ball Doesn’t Want To Go In

share on:

Despite opening his Barcelona account against APOEL in the champions league, Suarez has now gone five La Liga  games without a goal and the pressure seems to be getting to the former Ajax man.

Suarez who moved from Liverpool to Barcelona in the summer had two chances to put the ball in the net against Valencia but was denied by Diego Alves and was wrongly judged to be offside when he finally slotted the ball home in the second half. Speaking to the press after the game, the Uruguayan international said “The ball doesn’t want to go in but I’m always working on it. The goalkeeper saved the first one, but the second made me angry because I could see that I wasn’t offside.  I took a step back to make sure I was in the right position, in line, and that’s why I was angry. It was a fair goal.”

Let us hope Suarez finds the back of the net soon so that he doesn’t start biting players in Spain.
