Singer Miranda Lambert has admitted that her recent weight loss has given her a new lease of confidence.
“When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your s***’s not jiggling,” she told Marie Claire.
“I’m just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized.”
However, the 31-year-old singer, who was just nominated for four Grammys, doesn’t love that she’s garnered so much attention for her transformation. The focus on women’s bodies, she said, can be too intense.
“I hate it. Why do we care?” she asked. “I want women to love themselves whatever they’ve got going on.”
