The Black Stars of Ghana seem to have the toughest group in the upcoming 2015 African Cup of Nation. The Black Stars will open their Group C campaign against fellow West African giants Senegal following the final draw which was staged in Malabo.
Ghana will thereafter face a resurgent South Africa and Algeria who have been widely tipped as one of the favourites to win the tournament.
Group C will be based in Mongomo – a town in the Wele-Nzas Province of Equatorial Guinea.
Equatorial Guinea will face Congo in the opening game of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on January 15 in Bata.
The hosts will also battle Burkina Faso and neighbours Gabon in Group A.
Zambia, Tunisia, Cape Verde and DR Congo make up Group B while Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, Cameroon and Guinea complete Group D.
