FIFA Ranking: Nigeria Drops To 43 As Algeria Rules Africa; Germany Still World Best

Federation of International Football Associations, (FIFA) on Thursday released its monthly rating of National teams and for the month of December the Super Eagles of Nigeria dropped one place from a previous 42 in the world back in November to 43 with a total point of 656.

North African counterpart, Algeria and Tunisia maintained top spots as best football playing nations in the continent; carrying the November ratings into the new month.

Africa Top Ten:

Algeria   (1, 18)

Tunisia   (2, 22)

Cote D’Ivoire (3, 28)

Senegal   (4, 35)

Ghana   (5, 37)

Guinea   (6, 39)

Cape Verde   (7, 40)

Cameroon   (8, 42)

Nigeria    (9, 43)

Zambia  (10, 46)

FIFA Top Ten:

Germany

Argentina

Colombia

Belgium

Netherlands

Brazil

Portugal

France

Spain

Uruguay

In the Women top 10 rankings, USAGermanyJapanFrance and Sweden are top five while Brazil, EnglandCanadaNorway and Australia completes the list respectively.
