Did You Miss It? Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ Is the Most Popular Song of 2014 on Both Billboard & Facebook!

Please Clap along if you do feel like Happiness is the truth, as Pharell Williams’ song is the most popular song of 2014!  “Happy” has been named most popular song of 2014 by both Facebook and Billboard! Although both lists feature different songs and some of the same songs, they are in different slots as ‘Happy’ seems to be the song that took the spotlight off other featured songs on Facebook and Billboard lists respectively.


On the Billboard Top 10 Songs of 2014 by the numbers, Sam Smith’s ‘Stay with me’ featured on the 10th spot. Coming in at No 9 was Ariana Grande’s  Problem featuring Iggy Azalea. Meghan Trainor’s “All about that Bass” came in on the 8th spot, with  Reggae from Canadian band, Magic’s,”Rude” at 7th. Talk Dirty Jason Derulo ft 2Chainz, One Republic Counting Stars, Iggy Azalea ft Charlie XCX “Fancy” and Love song All Of Me by John Legend followed closely at the 6th, 5th, 4th,and 3rd spots respectively.

Playing second fiddle was Katy Perry’s Dark horse. This track is the most streamed hit of 2014. And Yes, kinging on the Top Spot is “HAPPY’. Hats off to the happy Pharell Williams as this song also is the best selling single of 2014. Watch the compilation video that Billboard released of their top 10 list below.
