share on:

President of the United States, Barack Obama has called Sony‘s decision to cancel the release of controversial film The Interview.

Sony had pulled the release of the James Franco & Seth Rogen film over terrorist threat by hackers.

The President said the United States cannot allow “some dictator” to impose censorship.

He added that although he is sympathetic to Sony’s concerns, he wishes the Hollywood studio would have come to him before deciding to pull the film.

Several Hollywood stars have also criticized Sony’s decision to pull the film.

North Korea has however denied any participation in the hacks.
