ARTIST –  NICKI MINAJ 
RELEASE DATE –  December 15 2014
LABEL-  YOUNG MONEY / CASH MONEY /
REPUBLIC
FORMATS – DIGITAL, VINYL , CD

ALL THINGS GO

In “All Things Go” Nicki Minaj talks about aborting/losing her child with Aaron as a teenager, she also reflects on the murder of her cousin Nicholas Telemaque in 2011 which she still blames herself for, she also speaks about an unwanted proposal which see didn’t seem to want at that time.  In All the song really delves into some dark places in Nicki Minaj’s past and also confirms how Onika Maraj (her real names) has matured musically

I LIED

Nicki talks about not letting herself go to keep Mike Hill (Not Mentioned In The Song) from breaking her heart.  She talks about how they enjoyed it while it lasted

THE CRYING GAME

Nicki Minaj teams up with popular UK Song-Writer Jessie Ware on this track which talks about an abusive relationship “I’m just abusive by nature not cause I hate ya”
Jessie Ware totally makes the song loveable and compliments Minaj in every way, this is one of my best songs on the album

GET ON YOUR KNEES

Features Ariana Grande, one of the break out starts in music this year. The track was Co-written by Katty Perry although she didn’t feature in the vocals.
“Get On Your Knees” is a dominatrix anthem which begs a man to “get on his knees”  and “get on all floors”.  It might be one of the less liked songs on the album because apart from Ariana Grande’s bridge it doesn’t really hit the right tunes

FELLING MYSELF

Featuring Beyonce, is a spasmodic tune for the Pro-Women Movement. Queen Bey brings her now renowned Gangsta Flow to the track.  They both talk about how they’ve conquered the world “I stopped the world, Stop.” Pause” Carry on”. It’s a much more better produced track than “Get On Your Knees”  It’s definitely a must listen track

ONLY

Features Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown.
The song stars with the lines “I never fucked Wayne, I never fucked Drake”  but Lil Wayne goes on to make it clear on his verse that they’d fuck Nicki Minaj if given the chance “I never fucked Nicki cause she got a man but when that’s over then I’m first in line”
At some point “only” just sounds like a messy tune and I wonder why it wasn’t given the bonus track treatment

WANT SOME MORE

She talks about being loved and hated by her critics “Ain’t Got nothing on me this dudes are funny”
She spits her lines at high paced speed and she proves how flexible she can be lyrically

FOUR DOOR AVENTADOR

This song basically wants to leave a “Biggie” impression on your and it does that effortlessly. The song was produced and Co-written by Nigeria’s own Parker Ighile and Asabe Ighile. It has low paced beats that takes us back to the 90’s and if you’re a fan of Notorious B.I.G you’ll definitely love the track

FAVORITE
Featuring Jeremih.  Nicki Minaj wants to be your favorite. She doesn’t delve to much into other matters and just emphasises on wanting to be your ONLY and Jeremih agrees with her on the chorus. Overall it’s a melodious tune

BUY A HEART

Featuring Meek Mill
“Anybody wanna buy a heart, anybody wanna buy love, anybody wanna buy trust”   from the lyrics it obviously points to a love-rap song with a slow-tempo beat. Meek Mill doesn’t go fast or hard on this one and rather influences the song slowly and steadily. This is one of those songs that’ll definitely rock the Radios due to its pop influenced style

TRINI DEM GIRLS

Features Lunchmoney Lewis. This was the first song I listened to on the album and personally is my favourite track on the album. The song has a dance hall feeling and Nicki doesn’t leave anyone out “American girls run the planet, South African, European, Asian, Australian and My Canadian Girls” all feature in the lyrics. Lunchmoney Lewis doesn’t need to do much to leave a remarkable influence on the song

ANACONDA

This is one of the popular songs on the album due to the fact that it was released as a single off the album. It’s a silly track which gives thumbs up to the Big Bum Bum Babes

THE NIGHT IS STILL YOUNG

Personally my second Favour track on the album.
It’s a perfect soundtrack if you’re about to have an evening filled with loads of fun.  “The night is still young and so are we”.  This song will definitely top the song chats once it settles in

PILLS AND POTIONS

Another single released off the album, pills and potions is a drowsy melodious tune which talks about a broken hearted girl and it’s an all round cute song

BED OF LIES

Featuring Skyler Grey.  Minaj talks more about her past life and other relationship episodes. She talks about her lover being a terrible liar. In all the song comes off boring for Nicki Minaj’s standard but it’s still a nice track to nod your head to while you listen.

GRAND PIANO

On this track Nicki accuses her lover of playing with her heart like keys on a grand piano. It’s a ballad song never heard before from Nicki Minaj. Will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas also helps out on the track but does not feature on the vocals. It’s a lovely piano ballad and one that shows that Nicki Minaj isn’t afraid to deviate from her comfort zone (Which is rap)

BIG DADDY

Featuring Meek Mill, this is a much more faster paced rap song than their earlier collaboration on the album “Buy A Heart”.  Meek Mill does his normal shout rapping while Nicki Minaj returns to her normal rap style and she dares anyone to dare them

SHANGHAI

On Shanghai, Nicki spits about her ni***as and it’s a hardcore rap song for her fans

WIN AGAIN

She talks about always winning and being the Queen of the rap game. She also emphasises on being the Mohammed Ali of rap “Not that I don’t have good vision but I don’t see any competition”. And with the garbled beat on the flow the Album Ends
