Bayern Munich are confident of signing Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard and could make an official announcement as early as Wednesday which will be the day he celebrates his 16th birthday.
Martin Odegaard has been on a tour of Europe’s top clubs in recent weeks and has trained at Liverpool and Bayern, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Celtic and Arsenal all registering an interest
Due to his tender age Odegaard cannot sign a professional contract until he turns 16 and his present club, Stromsgodset will be due a compensation package should he opt to leave his homeland.
He had made 25 appearances for Stromsgodset since making his debut in April and has scored five goals.
He already has three full caps for Norway having made his debut in August.
