Nigerian Student Banned From School In United States Over Ebola

share on:

A Nigerian student, Samuel Ubezonu, was prohibited from attending his school, Mount Zion Christian Academy, North Carolina over Ebola fears.

Ubezonu, 16, was asked by the school authorities not to come to school because his dad had returned from Nigeria on the 27th of October.

The school sent his parents a note that read:

We value your family and all of our families and consider it our foremost responsibility to maintain a facility that is both physically and environmentally safe for all.”

The decision forced the Ubezonus to go to court, where a judge ruled that Samuel be readmitted immediately.
