Nesta Comes Out Of Retirement To Join Indian Super League

AC Milan icon, Alessandro Nesta has come out of retirement to join Indian Super League side Chennaiyin.

The 38-year-old, who was part of Italy’s 2006 World Cup winning side has not played a match since October 2013 when he took to the field for MLS side, Montreal Impact.  Chennaiyin however announced on Friday that the former AC Milan captain had joined them, linking up with former international colleague Marco Materazzi, who currently occupies the position of player-manager at the club. Nesta is the latest big name to turn out for Chennaiyin, who also boast of the services of Mikael Silvestre and Eric Djemba-Djemba.

Chennaiyin currently sit top of the Indian Super League and would be looking forward to a successful pairing between Silvestre and Nesta
