  1. I am a great Yemi Sax fan. The brother is extremely good at what he does. But please can someone who is in direct contact with him let him know that the beauty of his music is in the instrumentals. The mix of instrumentals and the voices of the artistes who did the original performance of the songs just dilutes his work. We all know the original songs and we all probably have the songs with the full vocals. Thus, when we listen to Yemi Sax’s performance, we are really not interested in the vocals of the original performers of the song. They are, in fact, distractive. We want to appreciate Yemi’s talent in full. His album “Saxophone Mood” is a classic, and it represents what I am advocating for. This matter has been discussed extensively among some of Yemi’s fans and my views are representative of those of the other people I know. I make these comments bona fide and with the sole intention of making an input that could improve Yemi’s work and give it that desired sign of sax originality. I hope he gets to read this.
