Aguero gave Manchester City the lead after he was brought down in the box by Benatia and Benatia was red carded for a professional foul in the 23rd minute. Bayern Munich rallied and took the lead through Aoonso’s low 40th minute free kick and Lewandowski ‘s great header. Throughout the second half, it looked like City were going to be knocked out of the champions league, they started to pile pressure and were rewarded as Aguero’s 85th and 90th minute goals ensured that the citizens still have a shot at the knock out stage of the UEFA champions league.

Manchester  City know that a win against Roma Provided CSKA lose to Bayern would see them in the second round of the champions league
