DSS Finally Hands Sanusi Both His Passports Back

The Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS) Bassey Etang on Saturday finally handed over the two traveling passports-Diplomat and Local, following a seizure, belonging to the Muhammad Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano following the supposed peace talk that ensued between him and the President, Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential villa.

Confirming the development, the senior special assistant to Governor Kwankwaso on chieftaincy and emirate council affairs, Alhaji Tijjani Mailafiya, commended the gesture of the federal government, saying it will allow the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, carry out his local and international engagements when necessary.
