Nigeria’s president Goodluck Jonathan‘s influence seems to be waning.
Jonathan’s name was absent in a new list by New African, which ranked the 100 most influential Africans.
The list includes Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau and former Minister of Education and champion of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, Obiageli Ezekwesili.
Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu and Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II also made the list.
Four African heads of state; President Uhuru Kenyatta, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi of Egypt, President Idriss Déby of Chad and President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda were also featured in the list.
