A 14-year-old schoolgirl uses her martial arts skills to fight off attacker, 35, when he grabbed her in Sussex park.
According to Sussex police, the teenage girl was walking home through Tilgate Park in Crawley when a 35-year-old man took hold of her from behind.
Having mastered the act of martial arts for many years, the teenager was able to escape from her 5ft-7inch attacker before punching and kicking him.
The suspect was arrested shortly after the attempted attack on Saturday morning by the Sussex police and they are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Andy Bennett the detective inspector in charge of the case told reporters that: “Although we have made an arrest, we need to speak to anyone who was in Tilgate Park on Saturday morning and saw what happened.
“We need to find people who may have seen a man acting suspiciously in or around the park on Saturday or on other occasions.”
