Reports from London suggest that Mesut Ozil could be leaving Arsenal in the January transfer window.
Ozil has grown disillusioned with life at Arsenal and is frustrated at being played consistently out of position. The former Real Madrid midfielder likes to play in the middle just behind the striker but he has been played on the wings more than just a few times by Arsene Wenger and his persistent injuries are just making his stay at the Emirates worse.
Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing a £30 million deal to land the midfielder. If the situation with Ozil continues, he may be leaving the club for £10 million less than he joined and Arsenal would have freed up enough funds to bring in Khedira or Bender in January.
