Former President Olusegun Obasanjo Says Chibok Girls May Never Return Home

The chances of the abducted Chibok girls returning home has gotten increasingly slimmer, according to former president Olusegun Obasanjo.

The former president reportedly made the comments to BBC Hausa, adding they might have borne offspring for the insurgents.

“I believe that some of them will never return. We will still be hearing about them many years from now, some will give birth to children of the Boko Haram members, but if they cannot take care of them in the forest, they may release them.”
