Drogba Back On The Score Sheet For Chelsea

share on:

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba scored for the first time in a Chelsea jersey since that memorable penalty in 2012.

Didier Drogba returned to the club on a one year deal in the summer but has not made many appearances and had not found the net until yesterday when he sent the Maribor goal keeper the wrong way from the spot to add to his already impressive goal tally at Chelsea. The striker had come off the bench in the 23rd minute as a replacement for Loic Remy, who had picked up an injury.

Chelsea beat Maribor 6-0 and now sit comfortably atop their group.
