This goal is increadible in the sense that Ameobi had just come in as a substitute for Obertan at half time and right after the restart, the Newcastle midfielder was in behind the Tottenham defense. He controlled the ball with his first touch of the match and finished brilliantly with his second all in six seconds.

Ameobi’sgoal was the equalizer after Adebayor had opened the scoring for Tottenham. Newcastle went on to win the match as debutant Alphonze Perez scored the winner to give Alan Pardew’s men their second straight win this season and their first away win in the premier league since March
