SC Paderborn midfielder Moritz Stoppelkamp scored a ridiculous 90-yard volley against Hannover 96 – which broke the record for the longest goal ever scored in the Bundesliga history

Paderborn where leading the match late on and a  Hannover free-kick saw them send goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler forward as they searched desperately for an equaliser to prevent a loss.

Hannover were made to regret that decision as the ball broke to Stoppelkamp who, on the edge of his own penalty box, chested the ball down, turned, and volleyed the ball which travelled 83 metres down the pitch and into the empty goal.
