Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has been giving a rating of 86 in the soon to be released smash video game from EA, FIFA 15. Roonay’s rating dropped from 87 in the previous game, FIFA 14 following a torrid 2013/2014 season.
The real shock in the ratings was the fact that Rooney was higher rated than Diego Costa of Spain and Mario Gotze of Germany who were both rated 85. It was also surprising to see that Rooney, Neymar and James Rodriguez all have the same rating. FIFA 15 geeks and soccer enthusiasts have expressed serious displeasure with this following the Manchester United forward’s poor showings over the past 18 months for both club and country.
Mata received a rating of 85 while Karim Benzema was rated 84 while Van Persie and Falcao where rated 88 with the likes of Lewandowski and Gareth Bale receiving a rating of 87. Uruguay forward, Edison Cavani was also surprisingly rated 86 alongside Rooney.
Lionel Messi received the highest rating with 93 with Ronaldo of Real Madrid coming in second with 92. Robben and Ibrahimovic were rated 90 while Iniesta and Suarez were rated 89. Chelsea star, Eden Hazard received a rating of 88 and British record signing, Di Maria received a rating of 86.
