share on:

The gala night continued in its usual style of pomp and wonderful performances.

The contestants knowing the stakes was higher, we’re all at the top of their game. However, Flourish’s performance of Patra’s “Lover Man” drew criticism from Judge Ade Bantu. He said she lost connection with the song and he didn’t feel it; Kaffy on the other hand said she managed to be more coordinated than usual.

Rukky also got knocks from Judge TY-MIX who said she had a beautiful performance except for her short breaths and off notes on her performance of Tina savage’s “Wanted”.

Christian and Geoffrey’s performances of “Natural mystic” by Bob Marley and Majek Fashek’s “Rain Man” respectively, got them high reviews from the judges, faculty and audience.

Clement and Shola also got nice words from the judges while Daniella was criticised by TY-MIX who said her performance contrasted with what they were used to getting from her; however, Uncle Ben applauded her and called it an amazing performance.

Debbie also got rave reviews from Bibi and Mummy J for her performance of Rihanna’s “Man down”.
