It has been an outstanding month for Brazilian born, Spain forward, Diego Costa. Costa who joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in the summer picked up the award for player of the month for September in the Barclays Premier League, following a phenomenal start to his career in England.
Diego Costa has so far banged in four goals in three matches for Jose Mourinho’s men and has succeeded where, Eto’o, Torres, Shevchenko, Kezman and Demba Ba all failed; living up to the hype of a big signing. Costa who scored the first and last goal in the 6-3 thriller against Everton has lead his team to the summit of the premier league with three wins in three matches and would be delighted to have made such a contribution.
Costa would hope to recover from the hamstring injury that kept him out of the Spain squad during the recent rounds of international matches and bang in more goals for Chelsea and hopefully lead his side to another Barclays Premier League title.
