The Nigerian u-20 Female team defeated Korea DPR 2:6 to breeze to the finale for the second time in the competition.

Four goals from star woman Asisat Oshoala plus one each from Courtney Dike and Uchechi Sunday ensured the Nigerians recorded an emphatic win  against the pacy Asians who got their consolation goals through Ri Un-Sim and a penalty from Jon So-Yon.

The Africans got an early goal through Dike in the second minute. She was set up by player of the match Oshoala and made no mistake in putting the  ball past goalkeeper Chol Ok.

Oshoala doubled the lead in the 24th minute after capitalising on a poor touch from defender Song Kyong-Hui before making mince meat of the Korean  goalkeeper and scoring into an empty net.

The Asians responded ten minutes later as Ri Un Sim pulled one back with a great tad of individual brilliance. She received a long ball from the  midfield, beat two Nigerian defenders and fired a curly shot past Sandra Chichi who was completely beaten.

Although Yong Bong’s side looked determined to get the leveler, but that was not to be as the first half ended 2-1 in favour of Nigeria.

On resumption of the second half, substitute Sunday got her side’s third of the game as she hit a stunning shot from 20 yards out that left Kim  with no chance as it flew into the top corner.

Korea DPR got their second goal of the game through So-Yon after referee Margaret Domka adjudged Ugo Njoku to have handled the ball in her own

However, with time ticking away, Oshoala grabbed her second, third and fourth goals of the game to send her team to the final as well as lead the  goalscorer’s chat with seven goals.

Nigeria will face Germany, 2-1 winners over France in the second semi-final game, in the final of the championship that will hold at Montreal’s  Olympic Stadium on Sunday.
