On This week’s Quickie, I caught up with the Diva known as “King Of Queens”,, Yemi Alade. She’s surely the fastest rising female artiste for 2014. Check out her shocking revelation on Quickie with my humble self, @SuperSeanKc.

Describe Yemi-Alade as a Brand, an artiste and a Person?

I am an”afro highlife pop rnb” songwriter, songstress and performer signed to Effyzziemusic group. I am sometimes referred to as that Yoruba Igbo girl; as my mum is a native of Abia state while my dad is a native of Ondo state.I am the fifth of seven kids , a lover of music and believer of God.

Since attaining Stardom, what Part of you has died and you wish to resurrect?

Hmmm I USED to have a more active Twitter handle where I easily interact  with fans…I intend to rekindle the relationship.

Which fellow foreign or local celeb would you love to Slap So hard?

I will slap Beyonce, she’s too too hot!!

If Banky W was just a cool regular brother and not a celeb, would you date him?

Assuming that were the case…he would have to be more than jst a cool non-celeb. there are many ingredients that make the soup sweet.

What Nigerian food can u cook perfectly well?

All…except banga soup

Briefly Talk about your music and your style?

My music is my message to the world and is highly influenced by personal experiences like “Johnny” and a few other tracks.I am a lover and not a a fighter but I know when to wear my gloves.

What age did you have your first kiss? And what was the experience like?

(laughs)  I was 17…it was steamy and sincere.
