#InTheNews: Criminal Who Posted A Video Of His ALS Challenge On Facebook Gets Arrested

A 20-year-old fugitive from Omaha, Jesean Morris who had been off law enforcement radar was recently re-arrested.

Morris who is wanted for violating his parole term posted a video of his ALS ice bucket challenge on Facebook. A person who knew Morris had an outstanding warrant, contacted the police and they were led by the video to the house where Morris taped it near 33rd and 4th street.


The police arrested him outside the house at about 3pm on Friday, when approached, he gave them a false name, and  assaulted a police officer while resisting arrest. He was booked into jail on the warrant and on suspicion of criminal impersonation, resistance and assaulting an officer.
