Novak Djokovic beat Rodger Federer in an absolute classic 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 5-7, 6-4 to claim his second Wimbledon title. Both men struggled to break each other’s serves and made a total of 53 unforced errors with Federer making 27 of those.

In a classic that lasted three hours it was Djokovic who had a chance to win the match in the third set but threw away two match points and saw Federer come back from 5-2 down to win the set that broke the serve of Federer in the tenth game of the fifth set to stop Federer from becoming the first man to win eight Wimbledon title.
