Mark Wahlberg has revealed he’s not a fan of doing stunts by himself.
The 43-year-old actor stars in Michael Bay’s new sci-fi feature, Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Stunt doubles were used in many of the action sequences because Mark isn’t interested in putting himself in danger on set anymore.
“No, I don’t [like stunts] in particular. I just do what’s asked of me,” he told Slash Film. “I’m too old to be a thrill-seeker now, and people who say, ‘Oh, I’m such a bada** – I do my own stunts,’ they spend an hour in the makeup chair and another hour looking at themselves in the mirror.”
Mark portrays mechanic Cade Yeager in Transformers 4, a father who attempts to shield his daughter Tessa, played by Nicola Peltz, from the threat of extraterrestrial robots and leering teenage boys.
