Justin Bieber has been having quite a bad time of recent after his past came back to haunt him. Videos were released showing Justin Bieber at the age of 15 making ‘nigga’ jokes and another was released where Justin Bieber was singing a ‘nigga’ rendition of ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ – one of his earlier songs. While the likes of Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Birdman and Floyd Mayweather have come to the defense of Justin Bieber, Lupe Fiasco doesn’t feel that way.
In a recent interview with MTV, the rapper compared Bieber’s offensive words to those infamously uttered by former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.
“There was such an uproar about someone who didn’t use the N-word at all,” Fiasco says, referencing the ex-NBA owner. “And you have someone who just made a very racist joke… I wonder if Justin Bieber’s going to get the same treatment as Donald Sterling. I don’t think he will.”
Fiasco’s message is clear — “I don’t think anybody should be allowed to profit about racism.”
