CESC FABREGAS has passed a medical at Chelsea, according to reports in Spain. Starsport reported yesterday the Barcelona star had agreed personal terms ahead of a possible switch. The two clubs are yet to agree a fee for the midfielder but Spanish newspaper Marca claim Fabregas has already had a medical at Stamford Bridge. He is said to have passed the tests and everything is now in place for the ex-Arsenal ace to replace Frank Lampard. Fabregas was in London last week and Marcaallege Chelsea chartered a private jet to fly him in. Arsenal and Manchester United have both shown an interest in Fabregas too but it appears the Blues are in pole position to land him. The Gunners have a wealth of midfield options and will focus their attentions on signing a striker. United’s hunt is hampered given they cannot offer Champions League football. Barcelona are holding out for around £29.2m for the 27-year-old
