Cameron Did It! Sudanese Woman On Death Sentence To Be Released

share on:
Prime Minister David Cameron

Its a great news for the sudanese woman who was sentenced for apostasy as the Sudanese government finally saw the importance of a bilateral relationship and influence in terms of foreign affairs and the non-hesistation to drop all charges against the Meriam Ibrahim, was proof of such understanding.

However, as good as that sounds, the 27-year-old’s lawyers seemed to think it might all be a facade.

According to them, “It’s a statement to silence the international media. This is what the government does. We will not believe that she is being freed until she walks out of the prison. … But at least it shows our campaign to free Meriam is rattling them. We must keep up the pressure.”

It will be recollected that Prime Minister Cameron Condemned the sentencing and urged the Sudanese government to release her despite the fact that been an islamic run state, abandoning Islam is a crime punishable by law.
