#Brazil2014: Neymar Under FIFA Investigation For Wearing Banned Boxers

Brazil’s star forward Neymar is a subject of FIFA investigation for wearing prohibited underpants at the FIFA 2014 World Cup.

Neymar had taken off his shirt after Brazil’s win over Cameroon, which was when the underpants were noticed.

According to FIFA regulations, any product that is not made by a sponsor of the World Cup is considered banned and should not be displayed at games and press conferences.

This isn’t exactly strange, as Denmark’s Nicklas Bendtner was fined €100,000 ($125,797) by UEFA (European football’s governing body) when he celebrated a goal by lifting up his shirt to reveal the name of a betting firm on the waistband of his underpants at Euro 2012.
