#Brazil2014: Japan Fail To Make Numerical Advantage Count Against Greece

share on:

Japan has failed to win in its first 2 games at the 2014 FIFA World Cup after a frustrating goalless draw against Greece.

The draw would hurt Japan more, considering they played more than half of the game with a man more, after Greece captain Kostas Katsouranis was sent off after getting 2 yellow cards.

Greece held on for a critical result in the group by returning to the rock-solid defense that Colombia had blistered for three goals in an opening loss.

Katsouranis will be suspended for Greece’s final group match against Ivory Coast.
