“I have never called the United Nations to guard us. Me, Yoweri Museveni to say that I have failed to protect my people and I call on the UN: I would rather hang myself. We prioritized national security by developing a strong Army, otherwise our Uganda would be like DRC, South Sudan, Somalia or Nigeria where militias have disappeared with school children.
“It would be a vote of no confidence in our country and citizens if we cannot guarantee our security. What kind of persons would we be?” He said
President Jonathan should have asked for his assistance instead?

  1. our President is in lack of power and he has the power. The President of Ugandan, in his speech you will known that, he did not lack power .mr presido take notice from Ugandan presido

  2. This is pathetic, but is just the truth. If Yoweri who happen to be a former lecturer ,an activist and a president could uttered such statement against Mr. President. Then GEJ should get up from his slumber, put on his thinking cap, be bold , courageious and face the reality of this insurgence.
A leader is always a leader, irrespective of the circumstance, proactive, with a good foresight. He should remember that Nigerian gave him the mandate to rule ,there is no excuse at all not to leave up the expectation of the good people of Nigeria. A good Sheperd will always want to fight to finish to protect every single sheep in the flock against wild animals and all other misharps.
