Arsenal End 9-Year Trophy Drought With 2014 FA Cup Victory

It’s been a long-time coming, but Arsenal have finally ended their 9-year wait for a trophy.

Arsenal beat Hull City 3-2 to claim the 2014 FA Cup trophy.

The North London club had been trophyless since their 2005 FA Cup victory over Manchester United.

They had come close a number of times, losing the Champions League in 2006 to Barcelona and fumbling to Birmingham in the 2011 Carling Cup Final.

Goals from Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny and an extra time strike from Aaron Ramsey however ensured an end to the Gunners drought.

Congratulations, Arsenal!
