A new webisode will be released every Friday for the next four weeks, leading up to DJ Obi’s arrival to the United States for his summer expansion tour. Directed by James “Måvrik” Osagie and Produced by Ayomikun Oludoyi of Måvrik Films, the web series chronicles the full spectrum of DJ Obi’s hard work, success and good times as he maintains his highly regarded position as The World’s Best DJ. Also giving exclusive behind-the-scenes access to celebrity parties, private celebrations and major events attended by DJ Obi and friends.
Each webisode will give fans further insight into the talent and brand of DJ Obi. The audience will be exposed to who DJ Obi is as a well-respected music expert and groundbreaking DJ. With ongoing plans for global expansion, DJ Obi does not fall short in making power moves in a way that only he can. With a laser focus on his legacy and strategy for uncut recognition and domination in the music industry, DJ Obi manages to still reveal an entertaining life of fun, opulence and spontaneity.
As all the webisodes for Season One of The Takeover have been completed, Season Two will begin shooting this Summer and Fall as DJ Obi tours through the United States, South Africa, London and Spain.
