Lindsay Lohan made a bombshell declaration that she suffered a miscarriage but even that shocking revelation didn’t urge the viewers to tune in to her docu-series on OWN. According to Radar Online, ‘only 335,000 people tuned in’ to the finale of Lindsay on Sunday evening.
The Oprah Winfrey Network series for which the 27-year-old was paid $2 million has been on a steady decline since its launch in March. While it initially received over 693,000 viewers for its premiere, the second episode dropped by 24%, reported the website.
And by the time the eighth and final episode aired, the ratings were down a staggering 52% and placed the series in 59th place out of the 66 ad-sustained programmes on primetime and cable networks, according to RADAR.
The Liz & Dick actress has also been hit by claims she faked her miscarriage and a source told RadarOnline: ‘She absolutely made it up.’
The insider continued: ‘Lindsay was never pregnant during filming the reality show for OWN, or in the months after. Lindsay knew she was being perceived as a total slacker, not showing up on time for photo shoots, call times and refusing to shoot. So this is what Lindsay does. She lies.’
