The awards season never ends! The 2014 MTV Movie Awards kicked off with Hollywood’s biggest and brightest stars and host Conan O’Brien at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last night. This year’s golden popcorn celebration — which honored blockbusters, tween flicks and categories like “Best Kiss” and “Best Shirtless Performance” — saw the revenge of Jennifer Lawrence and Rihanna as the queen of the red carpet and stage.

The top prize of the evening went to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The action flick won Movie of the Year and star J.Law finally won over her award season rival, 12 Years A Slave’s Lupita Nyong’o. Lawrence also graced the stage to accept the award for Best Female Performance.

Rihanna took home a pre-show honor for best cameo performance in the comedy This is the End. She kept it extra sexy on the red carpet in a white satin bustier and robe from the Ulyana Sergeenk Couture SS2014 collection. Her highlight moment during the ceremony was a performance of mega-hit “Monster” with longtime collaborator Eminem.
