Where Is 2Face?

2Face on Annie proposal: Singer explains why it took so long

Where is tuface .this question has been nagging at my tormented mind for sometime. All through the Christmas season, I watched out for his name on all the promos for shows but did not really see him feature. Now valentine has come and gone no tuface. What is going on, has the creative juices dried up?

Last I heard of this iconic artiste was his duet with victor olaiya. That powerful rendition more than showed the depth of his talent. The light but very silky touch he brought to that evergreen song continue to cascade down my skin like smooth velvet. The video that accompanied it was also a smash.

Bayode the GTB banker son of Victor Olaiya is my friend and he took me to the set where the video was shot. That is the extent of my fixation with this artiste. He has redefined sound and has opened the doors for so many artistes.

So what is the problem? Where are the songs, where are the shows? Or the calabar soup his wife Annie has been cooking for him has blocked his vocal chords. I just read that he was in the Aero Plane that the crew forgot to lock the door before take off. What was he going to do in Cameroun when the action is here in Lagos.

He has left the leadership position open and surprisingly, nobody has been able to cover it. No not dbanj, I just listened to his latest single and all I could see was his bare chest and the bored horse. From the look on the horses face, it felt like throwing up and coudnt wait to do better things instead of listening to this cacophony.

People say I look like tubaba, that I even walk like him. Well sha who am I to decline. I like the guy die, his talent is undeniably mercurial and his gait is really classic. He defines stardom and epitomises what is good about akwaibom.(as he marry our daughter, we don claim am).

So tubaba, if the songs have dried up, come make I write some nice Ibibio songs for you wey go guarantee you Grammy nominations. You have been too quiet for too long. Mbog, annie release our man o.
