The 2014 Oscars held at Hollywood & Highland Centre on March 2, 2014 in Hollywood, California. We have selected some of our favourite Oscar Celebrity Hair and MakeUp looks we love. We noticed that on the red carpet this year there were unusually very few up-d0s. The new hair trend for stars was “letting their hair down”. The hottest trend for lipstick was either a dark lip or the most common “nude lips”.
Jada Pinkett wore pretty pastel hue over her eyes and lips with her stunning pink dress for the Oscars; her centre-parted straight hair pushed back.
Khloe Kardashian was dolled up in her Old Hollywood hair ‘do with large blow out curls, and very gothic berry lip.
At this year’s Oscars, Kerry Washington rocked a fringe of upper lashes and a deep sculpted-looking blush to match her winter’s dark plum lip trend; it went with the highlights on her side-parted half-up body wave weave.
Rita Ora went for long, flowing side-swept locks and heavily kohl-lined eyes for theVanity Fair post-Oscars bash.
We also spotted a variety of short hair styles. Take a look below
Lupita Nyong’o went all-out princess at the Oscars, wearing peach Chanel lipstick and blush make-up look with a pretty hairband over her Mohawk, to match her Cinderella inspired Prada dress.
Viola Davis looked amazing at the Oscars with these fantastic retro finger waves. Her makeup was also perfect for her: luminous skin, sculpted eyes with a highlight at the inner corners and a clear gloss on the lips.
Kristin Chenoweth was spotted at the Oscars in a side fringe blonde bob with natural nude lips and fringe eyelashes to define her eyes.
However, Amy Adams went for the Oscars red carpet go-to hair trend: an elegant up-do with no part. She wore a peach coloured lipstick, which complimented her subtle makeup.
