Best & Worst in Fashion Of February 2014

share on:

Happy new month guys, 360nobs Style brings you the best and worst of February 2014. The best part is that my wonderful readers get to play fashion police. So, you guys decide on the outfits you hate and the ones you love.

Let’s get started:

5)Yemi Alade at the Top Tea Valentine’s day party: Yemi Alade’s performance at Top Tea’s party for Valentine’s day was really good. Our concern is her outfit which she is unusually not horrible. It could have been better, I mean she is wearing all black and she performed a couple of love songs plus it was Valentine’s day. Black and love?. Do you get my drift?

My problem isnt however with her outfit, it is that hair. The braided bun is a beautiful hairstyle, Katy Perry even had it on at the 2014 Grammy Awards and Eku Edewor wore it at the 2013 AMVCA, I love the hairstyle. Why didnt she tidy up the hair at the side? 😳

Great Or Not?

4)Fade Ogunro at the Classic FM Valentine’s day party: I certainly do not like how the dress makes her breasts look. Her hair and make-up is flawless though, I love that she didn’t wear a red lip, but instead opted for the dark lip which is totally on trend now. I am a sucker for “backless” dresses, so this is a YES for me.

3)NickyCoppolang at the HON  Cocoon Spring 2014 Fashion show:  I am 100% positive my readers are tired of seeeing this picture 😀 Don’t hate me. I just understand how hard it is to pull off a look like this. The dress is so well tailored. It fits perfectly, the cuts are in the right places, and she accessorized properly.

Big ups to the designer of the dress and to the gorgeous lady.

2)Omoyele Ogundipe on Valentine’s day: This is a fabulous outfit, very few people can pull off a bandage dress without looking tacky. I love how she accessorized also, and she has the perfect body for it.

2)Adebayo Oke-Lawal and Maki Oh at the LVMPH: This has probably been the ‘proudest’ moment for the Nigerian fashion industry. Adebayo Oke-Lawal of Orange Culture and Amaka Osakwe of Maki Oh were among the 30 finalists selected out of 1221 for the LVMHPrize Young Fashion Designer 2014 Showcase in Paris. Big congrats to them.

I know this is not an outfit, but I just had to share.

1)Anna Ebiere Banner at House Of Nwocha’s Cocoon Fashion Show: She is wearing a black velvet dress from House of Nwocha’s 2012 fall collection. The sleeves of the dress look like they could be fitted a little more, asides that this dress is perfection. One of my favorite red carpet outfits from the event.

  1. For the Anna Ebiere outfit, I like the fact that she packed her hair to the side; smart move to bring out the essence of the outfit. However, like you said, the dress could use a little bit more of an adjustment. I don’t know if it’s the suede material but that dress could still come out wayy sexier.
