Police have arrested a Florida man accused of allegedly having sex with a dog that lived in his home.
Joshua lee Werbicki, 22, was arrested last Friday at a papa johns restaurant where he worked after being caught sexually assaulting the dog on home surveillance system set up by family members of the dog who noticed signs of abuse from their German shepherd who often limped and was fearful of being approached.
Florida today reported that the dog belonged to werbicki’s roommate, and Sgt Micheal Healy of Brevard county services told the paper that the dog remains in the custody of the roommate.
According to WESH Orlando, Werbicki is being held on $2,500 bond and was booked on charges of cruelty to animals and sexual acts involving animals. Cruelty to animals is a felony crime, while sex with animals is a misdemeanor.
