Grammy Awards 2014: Yaayy or Naaayyy?

share on:

The grammy award show is the only one where celebrities are allowed to go ‘crazy’. The golden globes, screen actors guild awards, and academy awards are formal award shows so you are expected to dress in that manner. Most celebrities take advantage of this leverage and go over the top with their outfits. Sometimes, it pays off and other times it doesn’t.

Which of these outfits hit the right note and which didn’t?

Katy Perry: I think Katy Perry’s dress would have looked way better without those awful sleeves. I can ignore the musical notes on  her dress, only because it is the grammy’s. I am also not in love with her hair and make-up.

What do you think?

Paris Hilton: Paris stunned  in a high-necked white gown by Haus of Milani.

Her hair and make-up equaled perfection. Whoever did her hair and make-up should just do it all the time. I am still quite undecided about her dress though. It was white sequin with design work on the side, with lots of detail and cutaway.

What do you think about the dress?

Paula Patton: She is wearing Nicolas Jebran Couture.

I love love love lovvvveeee this gown. Her hair and make-up, the beading on the dress, the minimal jewelry, the animal heads, the fitting, the print, color, EVERYTHING!!!. I am obsessed with this outfit.

A couple of people have complained that the pattern is too bold, and that the animal heads are unnecessary. What do you think?

A yaay or a naayy for Paula Patton? Definitely a YAAYYY from me. 😆
