They say a picture tells a thousands words, and Emily Nkanga is a master orator.
18-year old Emily is fast becoming a popular name in photography circles, with quality shoots under her belt like Ajebutter 22, Sarz, Broadway actor Adesola Osakalumi and legendary singer Femi Kuti.
A student of Communications and Multimedia Design at the American University of Nigeria, Emily was once an understudy of iconic photographer August Udoh, and is already making waves of her own in the industry.
One of Emily’s favorite quotes are the words of David Bailey, who said, ” It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter, because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the ordinary.”
