In what can only be described as disgusting and nauseating, the Police in Adamawa said it had  arrested a 70-year old man for sexually abusing boys aged between 13 and 15 years. According to the  spokesman for the command, DSP Mohammed Ibrahim, he  told journalists in Yola on Wednesday that the suspect, a mason, was arrested in Jimeta. Ibrahim said the man had been engaging in unlawful sexual relationships with four boys, who he lured with money.

According to the proverb ‘when breeze blow, fowl yansh’ will open ‘.  Things came to the open when the father of one of the children took his son who had sustained injury in the act to a private clinic, which prompted the doctor to alert the police,” he said.

Ibrahim commended the doctor and noted that the parents of the boy had wanted the matter dropped for fear of stigmatism. The command urged parents to monitor the movements of their children and guard against their falling prey to unscrupulous characters.
