Design duo Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff have teamed up with Topshop to produce an 89piece collection inspired by a fictional 80s glam rock band, called the Cherrys.
The designers said of their line with Topshop; “the overall aesthetic was influenced by Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, Kembra Pfahler and glam rock . . . it is an enormous and all-encompassing collection which will offer a myriad of choice for any customer to adapt or reject as they see fit.”
The line is all over the place with lots of colour, faux fur, frilly trims and ruffles. However below are some wearable pieces I was able to pull.
Although this line is staying true to the Meadham Kirchhoff aesthetic, I don’t see people (excluding die-hard fans) queuing outside stores for these quirky pieces. The line goes on sale in stores tomorrow November 21st.
