‘The Rebel’ VHC styling’s Spring/Summer 2014 Look-book

share on:

VHC styling is a modern and urban fashion & Wardrobe styling agency that over its one year of existence has styled some of Nigeria’s most high profile designer lookbooks, magazine editorials and runway shows. A brain child of what seems to be Nigeria’s youngest and most prolific 19 year old fashion stylist Richard Akuson. With personal&professional ties with the likes of one of Africa’s most exclusive and elite luxury designer Ade Bakare, Richard Akuson seems to be warming his way to the hearts of Nigeria’s fashion elites.

For his s/s 2014 portfolio look book, Richard got his inspiration from women’s wear fashion. with this daring but absolutely loveable lookbook.
‘The Rebel’ tells a story of a new modern fashionista. That’s so edgy and urban. That isn’t scared of exploring the world of female fashion. A man that is not defined by fashion rules and myths. A man that feels comfortable holding a tote bag, necklaces, smokey eyes and painted nails. But ultimately maintaining his masculinity.

Its a fusion of retro, urban and goth with a touch of rock and roll.

To achieve this, Richard Akuson teamed up with some of Nigeria’s best fashion creatives, model managements and retailers to beautifully present us with this portfolio lookbook, such as designers/retailers- Sashe clothiers, The Library Boutique, Siobhan Boutique and Dandy Lawal Boutique.
